In April 2014 The Healthcare Foundation launched a series (6 stages) of preventive and health promoting initiatives addressed to donors of the Healthcare Foundation, their families, retirees and pensioners who support the Foundation, as well as employees of ArcelorMittal Poland and subsidiaries.

1313 people took advantage of free laboratory tests performed as part of tumor diseases diagnostics - the so-called package for men and women, as well as stomach, diabetes and allergy tests. Densitometry tests for osteoporosis were also performed.

Children attending ArcelorMittal Kindergarten "Równe Przedszkolaki" were checked for postural defects. The examination was performed by doctors from the Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery Unit at St. Barbara Specialist Hospital no. 5 in Sosnowiec.

Children were also offered an opportunity to have laboratory tests performed - the so-called allergy and diabetes package.

In 2014 the Foundation covered costs of preventive activities in the amount of  PLN 71.223,00.

Laboratory tests were very popular and therefore we plan to continue preventive programs in 2015.

The Healthcare Foundation actively participated in ArcelorMittal projects i.e. Health & Safety Day and the Health Week according to the following motto:
